Collingwood BIA

The Collingwood Business Improvement Association recently renewed its mandate for a further 5 year term.  The current board of directors have undertaken a new branding and image program called "Historical Collingwood Gateway Into Vancouver".  As one of the main transportation corridors into Vancouver the Collingwood BIA is using transportation as its theme and has included a visual of the old Interurban into their new logo.

Commercial Drive BIA

The BIA includes businesses on both sides of Commercial Drive to the lanes East and West of the Drive and extends from Grandview at the South to the lane North of Venables.

Downtown Vancouver BIA

 

Located in the heart of Vancouver's cosmopolitan business district, the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA) serves a 90-block area that consists of 8,000 businesses, property owners and tenants - and attracts thousands of employees, tourists and shoppers every day. The DVBIA works on behalf of everyone who lives, works and enjoys themselves in downtown Vancouver, members, residents and visitors alike.

Gastown BIA


The Gastown Business Improvement Society (GBIS) is taking a lead role in the revitalization of Vancouver’s premier heritage area. The GBIS is a non-profit organization representing Gastown property owners and business owners.
The GBIS provides a variety of programs such as safety patrols, maintenance crews, tourism services and serves as an organizer and catalyst for special events and the continuing revitalization of the neighbourhood.

Hastings North BIA


The Hastings North Business Improvement Association's mission for Hastings Sunrise is to maintain and enhance the commercial and light industrial zones as safe, economically viable places to work, shop, live and have fun through cooperative, innovative programs and promotions.

Marpole BIA


The Marpole Business Association BIA was formed in the Spring of 2000. The MBA is the successor organization to the Marpole Business and Landlords Association, in existence since the 1970's.

Mount Pleasant BIA

The Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area was formed in 1989 and was one of the first in the Province of BC under the new Provincial legislation. In 1999 the BIA undertook expansion and was successful in establishment a ten year renewal mandate, once again the first in the Province.

Robson Street BIA


The RSBA is a non-profit business organization that represents a specific geographic area of Robson - the 3 block stretch which is the main shopping and dining strip comprising approximately 200 businesses.

The RSBA was created by City Council at the request of local property and business owners in 1991. The Association is funded by a special municipal levy that is paid by all commercial properties in the area.

South Hill (Fraser Street) Business Association

Established in April 2007, the South Hill (Fraser Street) BIA is one of Vancouver’s newest Business Improvement Areas(BIAs) encompassing about 180 business tenants and commercial property owners along Fraser Street between 41st Ave and 50th Ave. Representing all owners and tenants, the South Hill Business Association (SHBA) is a not-for-profit organization established to develop, encourage and promote business within the SHBIA.

Strathcona BIA


We represent over 850 business, property owners and not-for-profit organizations within our boundaries of Gore Avenue, Clark Drive, Railway Street and Venables Street. Our area is a broad mix of industrial, commercial, retail and residential zoning, with over 200 properties designated as heritage.

Vancouver Chinatown BIA


In the 1990s, the Chinatown business community, through the Vancouver Chinatown Merchants Association, began to search for an effective vehicle to fund and implement projects to revitalize the area. Other areas, such as Gastown and Downtown Vancouver had formed Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) to revitalize, with visible success. With the consent and support of the merchants and the property owners in the area, Vancouver Chinatown Merchants Association planned to establish the BIA in the area

Victoria Drive BIA


The Victoria Drive Business Improvement Association encompasses the commercial / retail district along Vancouver’s Victoria Drive from E.55th/Nassau Drive to E.32nd. This bustling area of Vancouver’s South/East side is easily accessible from the main east/west arteries of 49th Avenue, 41st Avenue and 33rd Avenue.

West End BIA

The newly expanded West End BIA, previously the Davie Village BIA, is host to a number of exciting events including "Host of the 2008 Vancouver BG Triathlon World Championships". On Saturday, September 12th, they'll celebrate their 6th Annual Davie Day. Everyone is welcome.
